HL-380 Properties and Functional Applications

HIFULL® HL-380 (BET=400㎡/g)
HL-380 is a hydrophilic fumed silica with a specific surface area of about 400 ㎡/g. It has high specific surface area, high surface activity and it is widely used in liquid silicone rubber.
HL-380 can keep high transparency, improve tensile and tear strength and its mechanical properties in liquid vulcanization silicone rubber. The processing performance can be greatly improved by adjusting the viscosity of the rubber material. It can also keep the original color of the rubber material, and maintain desired transparency.
HIFULL HL-380 helps thermal resistance and anti-aging performance with its high melting point and good chemical stability, thus prolonging service life.
HL-380 is also good reinforcement agent for synthetic rubber and RTV rubber. Increasing the bonding strength and shear strength of adhesives and sealants to prevent sagging and collapse during processing and curing.
When in deformers, HIFULL HL-380 improves its antifoaming performance; improves the rheological property of the ink and improves the printing efficiency; improves the activity and the efficiency when applied in catalysts; prevents sagging and extra paints when applying coatings and paintings, so to improve the construction efficiency.
