HIFULL® HB-620 (BET=200㎡/g)
HB-620 is hydrophobic fumed silica produced by hydrophilic fumed silica with a specific surface area of 200m2/g after chemical post-treatment with Hexamethyldisilazane / HMDS. It has advantages when applied in HTV silicone rubber.

When HB-620 is added to HTV silicone rubber as a filler, it can give full play to the reinforcement and thickening effect, prevent the structurization of HTV rubber, improve its tensile strength, tear strength, impact resistance and overall mechanical properties.
It also enables good thermal resistance and aging resistance, which prolongs product service life. By adjusting the viscosity of the rubber, it helps to stabilize the colloid structure, increase its plasticity and process ability.

In addition, HIFULL HB-620 plays roles in anti-sagging, anti-sedimentation, anti-caking, flow aid, thickening and thixotropy. It improves printing performance of PCB ink in strength of the fluorosilicone rubber, tensile strength and tear strength.
In adhesive and sealants, HB-620 enhance its bonding strength, solves problems of sagging, collapse during curing process. It also prevents the powder coating from absorbing moisture and caking, so to improve flow ability.

Pyrohydrolysi & Trichloromethylsilane
Fumed silica is synthesized by the pyrohydrolysis of silicon tetrachloride or trichloromethylsilane in the flame of hydrogen and oxygen. Our main raw material is silicon tetrachloride, and the secondary is trichloromethylsilane.

When fumed silica is used as filler or additives, it helps in thickening, reinforcement, transparency, free-flow, thixotropic performance, dielectric properties, anti-settling, heat insulation, and anti-sagging. For example, for powder products, HIFULL fumed silica is used as an anti-caking agent; for liquid products, HIFULL fumed silica is used as an anti-settling agent or suspending agent.
