HIFULL® HL-300 (BET=300㎡/g)
HIFULL HL-300 is a hydrophilic fumed silica with specific surface area of around 300 ㎡/g. It has high specific surface area, small particle size, and is often used in unsaturated polyester resin/UPR.

HIFULL HL-300 enables UPR to maintain good transparency while providing superior physical properties to the cured finished product. It significantly improves the mechanical properties in tear resistance and tensile strength.
It also improves thixotropy for UPR, which reduces the drip issues, thus improving the working efficiency and reducing waste and pollution.
- In adhesives and sealants, HIFULL HL-300 enhances the mechanical properties, increases viscosity, and prevents sagging and voids when curing.
- In silicone rubber and elastomers, HIFULL HL-300 improves their tensile and tear strength.
- In printing inks, fumed silica improves thixotropic property for clear printing.
- In paint and coatings, fumed silica helps to prevent sedimentation and delamination, and improves weathering ability and scratch resistance.
It can also efficiently adsorb active catalyst substances and disperse active centers to guarantee stable and long-term effectiveness of catalysts.

Pyrohydrolysi & Trichloromethylsilane
Fumed silica is synthesized by the pyrohydrolysis of silicon tetrachloride or trichloromethylsilane in the flame of hydrogen and oxygen. Our main raw material is silicon tetrachloride, and the secondary is trichloromethylsilane.

When fumed silica is used as filler or additives, it helps in thickening, reinforcement, transparency, free-flow, thixotropic performance, dielectric properties, anti-settling, heat insulation, and anti-sagging. For example, for powder products, HIFULL fumed silica is used as an anti-caking agent; for liquid products, HIFULL fumed silica is used as an anti-settling agent or suspending agent.
