HIFULL®HB-612 (BET=150㎡/g)
HIFULL HB-612 is hydrophobic fumed silica produced by hydrophilic fumed silica with a specific surface area of 150m2/g after chemical post-treatment with HMDS/ Hexamethyldisilazane. It has properties of low thickening, high thixotropy and high reinforcing. It has great performance in RTV silicone rubber.

In adhesives and sealants, HB-612 improves its mechanical properties, increases adhesion, prevents sedimentation during storage and avoids sagging and dripping issues.
In carbon fiber composite resin, HB-612 is effective in improving its strength, ductility and wear resistance;
In liquid coatings, fumed silica prevents sagging and extra paints when applying coatings, thus improves work efficiency;
In powder coatings, HB-612 prevents caking issues, and improves free-flow ability.
In printing ink, fumed silica regulates flow control and helps for good printing performance.

Pyrohydrolysi & Trichloromethylsilane
Fumed silica is synthesized by the pyrohydrolysis of silicon tetrachloride or trichloromethylsilane in the flame of hydrogen and oxygen. Our main raw material is silicon tetrachloride, and the secondary is trichloromethylsilane.

When fumed silica is used as filler or additives, it helps in thickening, reinforcement, transparency, free-flow, thixotropic performance, dielectric properties, anti-settling, heat insulation, and anti-sagging. For example, for powder products, HIFULL fumed silica is used as an anti-caking agent; for liquid products, HIFULL fumed silica is used as an anti-settling agent or suspending agent.
