HIFULL® HB-139 (BET=180㎡/g)
HIFULL® HB-139 is hydrophobic fumed silica which is produced by hydrophilic fumed silica with a specific surface area of 200m2/g after chemical post-treatment with PDMS / Polydimethylsiloxane, also known as silicone oil. It’s widely used in epoxy coatings.

When applied in epoxy system coatings, HIFULL HB-139 can effectively improve its stability during storage and transportation, avoid sedimentation, and extend its storage shelf life.
HIFULL HB-139 can also increase viscosity, regulate rheology, avoid thick edges and sagging issues when applying paint pigment, which helps to make the coating more uniform, and improve working efficiency and quality.
When in adhesives, HIFULL HB-139 improves viscosity and thixotropy, and prevents sagging during curing.
- In lubricant grease and cable gel, it helps for rheology control and facilitates filling.
- In polyurea sealants, it solves the problems of flowing, dripping and collapsing.
- In resins, it improves the mechanical strength and prolong service life.
- In toner, it improves free flow performance, increase color intensity, transfer rate and firmness.

Pyrohydrolysi & Trichloromethylsilane
Fumed silica is synthesized by the pyrohydrolysis of silicon tetrachloride or trichloromethylsilane in the flame of hydrogen and oxygen. Our main raw material is silicon tetrachloride, and the secondary is trichloromethylsilane.

When fumed silica is used as filler or additives, it helps in thickening, reinforcement, transparency, free-flow, thixotropic performance, dielectric properties, anti-settling, heat insulation, and anti-sagging. For example, for powder products, HIFULL fumed silica is used as an anti-caking agent; for liquid products, HIFULL fumed silica is used as an anti-settling agent or suspending agent.
